Took a screenshot that looked fine. Tried to attach it to to separate mms msg and the green progress line went near the end and stopped. Soon i got a message that "msg did not sent with a red exclamation ❗in a circle by each. Tried resend with same result. ??? Oh, I was on a good wifi signal.

MMS is a cellular carrier function. Are you all set up for MMS with your cellular carrier? (It may cost extra.)
Have you set Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging = "On"?
Thanks so very much. Apple assisted for an hour, had me close all Apps, force a restart but didn't help. Per your advice I shut off WiFi and bing worked perfectly. Why didn't I think of that?
